Book Cover Design Brief
Leadership: Lesson One is a leadership book, shaping the basis for an upcoming educational concept and consulting business.
The book describes the core elements of leadership, which are universally applicable and always remains the core, to which you can always return.
Just like in learning to play tennis or guitar: Before you start practicing more sophisticated playing styles, you need to get the right grip on the ‘racket’. Once you master that basic grip, you can add more layers of advanced techniques, but the basic grip remains the same, and this is where you can always return.
The task:
Develop the design for the entire book cover, i.e. full front page graphics including title, subtitle and author name on the front. Eventual colours / shadings to continue around the spine and to the back and leaving room for barcode and text.
Target Market(s)
The book is targeted leaders, eventually new/young to leadership, searching for the core of leadership, eventually before adding more refined layers of knowledge on top.

Requirements
Must have
- Expression, look & feel
- Overall, the book and philosophy is rather simple and very straight-forward. There is no sophisticated theory involved, it is rather action oriented.
- The purpose of the cover is to support this un-complicated / back-to-basics / the core of leadership-style and the expression shown in the attached video gives a directional indication of desired ease and simplicity - although expressed less cartoonish, and more serious.
- Leadership: Lesson One is always written using Capitals as seen in the video attachment.
