Logo Design Brief

Sweet Sadie's is an indoor playspace and children's activity center. The aesthetic is relaxed, fun, and comfortable, while still being appealing for adults. I'd really like something in bright, but not primary, colors, and it would be ideal if there were two versions: one that was just the logo, and another that included the text "Indoor Playspace" as a sort of subtitle. We've had a couple of passes at logos with a few different designers and haven't gotten exactly what I'm looking for -- often the designs read as too non-profit, or too babyish. Since I've been working on this for awhile, I've developed a good idea of what I want -- the image below is a representation with my (very limited!) artistic skills. The things I like about this design are that it gets the basics of what I want across: something relatively simple that conveys the feel of Sweet Sadie's without resorting to obvious kid-related imagery (like blocks). I like the idea I've sketched out here -- the banner/pennant/bunting, in saturated, fun colors. It might be better for the lettering to be white, rather than black, and in my mind, it would make sense for there to be posts and a string of some kind included in the design, to tie everything together. I can provide more context or direction, if necessary. I don't think the design is too awfully complex, but it's beyond what I know how to do.
