Logo Design Brief

I need a logo design for website, invoices/sales literature, business cards for a new company called Pelican Rocks. I am a consultant geologist working in oil and gas - hence rocks. I would like to see a design based on a cartoon pelican bird that plays on the word "rocks" as a noun (what I do) and as a verb (it rocks!). For example a pelican wearing shades or with a slight Elvis quiff. Colours are not important. Logo must have Pelican Rocks in Trebuchet or Calibri font. Nice and simple drawing that is easily reproducible. The final design should communicate experience but with a sense of fun
