Packaging Design Brief

We need to design a bag for a new snack food company. The brand is called "Fresh Delish," and the first product, plantain chips, will come in 4 flavors - Classic Unripe, Sweet 'n Spicy!!, Original Sweet, and Ginger & Soy. The bag - which we plan to print in multiple sizes - needs to have a clear section on the front so the contents are visible, as they will be sold by street vendors and ability to view the contents is key. Design needs to be "very happy and exciting" and feature simple, strong colors that say "delicious and crispy" i.e. Classic Unripe is green, Sweet 'n Spicy!! is red, Original Sweet is yellow, and Ginger & Soy is tan (plus these will be printed in mass so must be simple yet very catchy on shelves and on the street vendors). On the back, there needs to be a column of nutritional content, plus the company contact address, email, phone lines, Twitter/Facebook/Instagram handles, and the quality certification number. Also, on the back, a bar code and "Made in xxx" text. Finally, the net weight of contents needs to be on the front as well. I have uploaded a sample of a competing product's packaging as inspiration only (NOT TO BE COPIED but to our design MUST BE MORE CATCHY, ATTRACTIVE, and FUN than this one)

Requirements

Must have

• 1. For the package design, handoffs must include placeholders for ALL text so we can edit the text as needed
• 2. For package design, large transparent section on bag is critical so contents are visible; also, branding of "Fresh Delish" must be large and recognizable from a distance
• 3. Primary colors suitable for industrial mass production
• 4. Logo design on the bags must include the parent company name i.e. "Fresh Delish Snacks by Airegin Foods"
• 5. Package must say "Plantain chips" and the flavor e.g. "Sweet 'n Spicy!!" and with a small image of a hot pepper (each flavor should have a similar small image representing the flavor)
• 6. For the Logo design portion of the project, the Airegin Foods Limited logo should incorporate plantains, coconuts, potatos and corn. This logo is for the parent company and Fresh Delish is the plantain chip product line

Nice to have

• 1. Smiling faces suggesting happiness, health, friendliness, and overall delight at eating the chips
