Business Card Design Brief
We are a Venture Capital firm within financial services/Asset management. The industry generally has basic business cards with black, blue and maybe green/yellow design elements.
Our firm has a four-colour swoosh logo. We are based in London and want to stand out, just a little bit!, from the crowd. Our company is called CITE Investments and the 'C' stands for collaboration thus using designcrowd is a natural portal for our business card design competition. Our logo came via designcrowd too!
We use 'Venture Partner in Asset Management' as our tagline and this is Trademark registered. We operate in a conservative industry and we should not overstep our mark. The logo is colorful as it is and therefore the rest of the design should not be too fanciful.
The objective is twofold: make our logo element stick and memorable with our audience, whilst representing a conservative yet young image.

The Business Card obviously needs a field for Name, Surname, Job Title, Adress fields: Street, City, Postcode, Country, telefone and cell number, website address, etc.

- We must make use of our logo and potential tagline 'Venture Partner in Asset Management' as we are establishing a new Brand and new company in the market.
We can use 'CITE', 'CITE Investments', and 'CITE Investments'+tagline 'Venture Partner in Asset Management' or simply the four-colour swoosh plus the name of the company as part of the text. (see files)
All design elements are available in black or grey-scale if required. (grey scale swoosh attached).
Due to regulation we must have the following wording on the card in small print 'CITE Investments is an Appointed Representative of Thistle Financials Initiative Limited, which is authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority'.
Nice to have
- We would consider designs that make use of different printing techniques such embossing/debossing, UV spot etc.
We attach our colour palette in the files section for your reference.
Should not have
- The font we use for our company name is 'EXO' so do not use a font style that clashes with the corporate fonts, please.
Do not use other design elements than the ones we provide in the file library as part of this project.
