Logo Design Brief

Approach is a Canadian-based geomatics engineering company that conducts mapping, monitoring and inspection. We use land, sea and sky-based sensors such as multi-rotor and fixed-wing UAVs, LiDAR, hydrographic echo sounders, GPS and GIS to conduct mapping, monitoring and inspection surveys. We provide precision acquisition, interpretation and delivery of geospatial products that improve the management of infrastructure and environmental assets.

Simply put, Approach collects geo-referenced survey data by land, sea and sky and helps our clients manage that data in a GIS.

The final design should be technical, precise and professional, yet feel outdoorsy and expedition-ready. Think emitting signals, data clusters, camera sensors, data layers, earth, ocean, maps, contours.

Requirements

Must have

• Simple, clean, uncluttered. Easily stitched into a hat/shirt. Looks great with colour, but can exist without it (black and white).
• ** We really like the idea of "our name as our logo" - APPROACH as a standalone logo -- a Wordmark Logo I think this is called? I uploaded some images of similar logos.

Nice to have

• *We have now received several design options that incorporate our initials (AG) into the logo. We'd like to now see more pictorial/abstract logos as options please, with the accompanying word APPROACH alone. THANKS!!!

Should not have

• Logos that depend heavily on colour.
