Logo Design Brief

We are looking to set up a Coffee shop and café in a small village environment, but within the city of Exeter, In Devon (UK).
This will be called 'The Snug' and we are looking for a logo.

The emphasis of the café is to provide a very relaxed environment, Picture large chesterfield sofa's, a mixture of vintage, antique and a little shabby chic. The walls most likely colourwashed in dark pastels, also with a distressed feel.
We will be selling custom brewed coffee but also good, old-fashioned home cooked style food also.

We will look to support local farmers and purchase suppliers from local merchants.

I have attached two images, one gives an idea of how the interior will feel. A mixture of things, but with a comfortable feel.
The second is a series of logo's we like. Some are quite simplistic, but still prove very eye-catching. Others are a little more involved but still look very good and give the indication of a brand.

We do like the brown background as a base colour.
