Logo Design Brief

We are a new beverage chain based in Singapore offering retail customers on-the-spot, freshly squeezed orange juice, using juice extraction machines like the one seen here:

Although orange juice is widely available in juice bars and fruit stalls, this novel method of offering orange juice from juice extraction machines is relatively new to our markets in Asia.

We would like to create an attractive retail concept, starting with a logo design, that leaps out and grabs hold of the customer to watch the juice extraction process and develop an instant thirst for fresh orange juice.

Hi everyone,

So far your designs fall clearly into two categories – the premium, clean cut look which we feel is excellent for shelf sales; and the in-your-face, retail -oriented look.   

Our focus groups responded strongly toward the retail-oriented designs # 14397, 14459, 14348, 14452, 14351.

Our plan is to park the juice extraction machines in hot, busy areas to attract customers, and sell a premium quality product at an accessible price point.

We need to pull in the customers first! I hope you can adjust your designs to these requirements :

Make your design absolutely retail-oriented – bold, eye-catching, exciting!

Make your design “pop” ! For eg, give it a 3-dimensional effect

Orange halves seem to communicate the fruit better

Instantly understandable – brand name and offer must be clear and obvious at a glance

Limit to 2 colors – a passionate shade of orange and another bold color that conveys fresh/ health / life.  No black or brown please.

Must have
  • We would like POPOS to be presented as a modern, premium, bold must-have beverage, in highly approachable style that is for everyone. Think IKEA furniture, APPLE computers.

    The brand name POPOS was created because the P in POPOS resembles the orange squeezing arm on the machine, and the O resembles an orange/fruit. We would like to create the association in customer’s minds that POPOS is the first and original brand offering juice using the juice extraction machines. In other words, we want to own the extracting action.

    Needs to stand out from the usual fruit juice, smoothie bars, or orange farm–themed imagery.

    2 colors preferred, max 3– use vibrant, bold colors to convey premium, fresh, attractive, inviting, delicious.

    Bearing in mind orange and green are well used by many juice sellers, please make sure your design can stand out from this sea of look-alikes.

    The target customer must perceive our product offer as:
    - the easiest and fastest way to get fresh orange juice
    - premium, fresh and hygienic;
    - be visually reminded of the natural benefits of oranges
    - superior to carton/ bottled juice because fresh unprocessed juice is the best.
