Love the two fonts. We like the idea of the Joshua Tree, but the Joshua Tree in straight black (or any solid color) would be difficult for anyone but a desert dweller to understand what it is. Somehow there would need to be a bit more definition of the tree for it to work.

Thank you to everyone who has submitted designs so far. It's amazing all the talent out there. Our plan is to make a final decision on Monday. If you're looking at submitting any final revisions, here are a few common ideas that emerged from team review: 1) simple, not to busy or complex, 2) not religious or churchy, 3) smaller icon or symbol that compliments font not the other way around.

Sorry, it's been crazy busy. Probably not the best time to run a design contest. Our team met yesterday, hoping to award a winner. We ultimately got stuck on four final designs (including yours). I've asked them to spend a few days looking at each one, making comments, and we will make a final decision by first of the week (if not sooner).
