Logo Design Brief

We need a logo and brand design for a new company in Australia called "LIVIT Summer Intensive". LIVIT is a 5 day performing arts camp for young people between the ages of 9 and 17. Students to this camp stay the whole week and can work directly with experienced and recognised industry professionals and celebrities from around the country.

Each day includes top class tuition and exciting experiences. You'll be studying with people who've performed at the highest levels in theatre, screen and television.

No matter what level you’re at, the program is designed to help build on skills in acting, musical theatre and screen performance. It promotes a high quality approach to develop a true professional performer.

LIVIT includes a variety of elements within each chosen discipline, including specialised workshops with celebrities, Q&A sessions with visiting professional artists, and outdoor sport and rec activities to help you sleep well at night.

The camp is set on the shores of beautiful Lake Macquarie in NSW Australia.

We are particularly liking the designs that don't have people in them.

The main demographic is 11-18 years so we are looking for imagery and text that reflects that.

We need something that is exciting and fun for the younger age groups but we don't want to the older half of the demographic to be saying, "Mum, don't make me go to that...its for younger kids". We need all 11-18 year olds to be excited by the logo and for ALL ages within the demographic to be saying to their parents, "PLEASE, can I go to LIVIT!?!"

  • Must convey the ideas of: Performing Arts, Acting, the fact that its a camp and the participants will stay all week, celebrities. It must be fun, exciting and appeal to young people aged 11 to 17 years. It needs to convey: Wild action and pure fun, sun-soaked days, friends, great food, and all in the spectacular camp setting of Lake Macquarie. It needs to make our camp look like an unforgettable life-changing week.

  • But please no stars, sparkles, glitter. Try to steer away from the stereotypical idea of performing arts. Its more about discovering new experiences and exploring their talents.
