Web Design Brief
I am planning to launch a new online company called everythingcallcentre.com. This will be a place where people who work in call centres can come and purchase downloadable templates, tool-kits, courseware etc to help them in their jobs. The site will also share the latest information around research, best practices, news in the industry. Essentially a hub for everything call centre related.
I need someone to build the site for me from scratch (I have only just bought the domain name). Everything from the look and feel of the website (focus on easy to use, clean and sharp graphics, with a bit of fun), highly focused on social media and building a community, full blown e-commerce that allows for memberships/subscriptions/and one off purchase models. If you can also design custom graphics (high quality) that would be even better. Given my research of other companies in this space their websites are very dull that look like knowledge bases. I will want alot of cool visuals that attract the customers in. My initial thinking on colour scheme is bright greens/pinks/yellows etc. Not fluorescent though!
The site will contain alot of documents, templates, presentations, videos, articles, white papers etc. You must have experience in the best way to structure the site in an organised manner so that my customer can find what they need very easily.
The person who takes on this work must be happy to work collaboratively with me. It is also key that when the project is delivered that I am able to maintain alot of it myself in terms of uploading documents, blog updates, adding new products, real-time reports/analytics etc.
Whilst you are designing the website I will be working on the content so I will need your help to understand how I structure my content so that it makes sense for the design.
I will base my choice of designer on levels of experience (I will want to see previous work that you have done). I am not adverse to you using tools like shopify etc. if it meets the overall requirements of the site and adds to the functionality/look and feel.
