Logo Design Brief

Unique logo for a cafe with a vintage nautical feel ,not ocean nautical no seashells starfish seagulls ,more geared toward the Great Lakes ,old steam ships , freighters , I really like the nautical compass . The cafe will be filled with old maps of the Great Lakes and many antiques so something that will match that feel .One idea is using a ship that looks like the Edmund Fitzgerald with the logo in the blank space ontop of the ship but I'm open to anything .
