Logo Design Brief

Our elementary school is in the process of finalizing the re-branding our school mascot. Based upon a community and student survey we will now be the Robina Baker Raptors and as such are needing a new school logo/mascot to adorn our school letterhead, athletic uniforms, and even the wall of our gymnasium.

With our Raptor we are wanting something that is elementary student appropriate - i.e. no giant blood dripping fangs or claws. The character should appear smiling or at least happy (with the sample pictures we've attached, most would work with a "rounder" less angled eye).

The Raptor will be wearing running shoes. Athletic clothing would be a nice touch and would definitely add to the mascot but is not a deal breaker if the mascot itself is great. We are wanting the Raptor mascot to communicate an active and energetic school community.

In terms of colour, we have no preference as to the colour of the raptor itself but we are wanting varsity font with regards to the lettering and anything beyond the raptor itself (ie. clothing/shoes) should represent our school colours as identified in the design.
