Logo Design Brief

I need a logo for a new consultancy firm "EvalEpi" - refers to evaluation and epidemiology. I work on things like Ebola, infectious disease outbreaks, remote locations and the Pacific Islands. I want something very professional that would work for both developed and developing country settings.
I'll be using this design for business cards and a website. I'll need both of those developed - so if I like your design there is more to come :)
