Logo Design Brief
I need a logo that will represent my brand as a food addiction expert. I have almost completed a book, entitled Eating Sanity, which is also the name of my website and my brand. I lecture on food addiction recovery nationally, and I also provide food addiction recovery coaching. I am a licensed therapist and a recovering food addict myself. I have maintained a 60-pound weight loss for 9 years. My approach to food addiction recovery is a holistic model which involves physical, mental, emotional and spiritual interventions. I like a clean, simple, modern look, but also enjoy quirky/clever components. The idea is to find serenity in the madness of food cravings or thoughts. Balance and craving insanity are two components that I think should be represented.

Nice to have
- My original idea for a logo was a woman wearing a straight jacket meditating in the lotus position with a cupcake on her head or surrounded by tempting junk foods/desserts. It was meant to convey the idea that you can find serenity amidst the craziness of food thoughts and cravings. I don't think the straight jacket isn't transIating all that well in the designs I've seen so far so I'm open to other ideas. The name, Eating Sanity, can convey the actually eating of sanity, like from a bowl or plate, or just finding a sane relationship with food. I want there to be an element of serenity in the logo. Adjectives to describe the type of logo I'm looking for are playful but professional, Clean, modern and simple.
