Logo Design Brief

Very simple logo for my sons 2nd grade basketball team. I will go with Light Blue and Yellow, similar to the colors that are used by Golden State Warriors, Denver Nuggets. Logo should be reversible as well. For instance if I'm wearing Light Blue then would assume one set to stand out, then reverse to Yellow then opposite. Attaching basic design pieced together on internet. Also, I attached last years jersey, so you can see the likely placement of the logo. The league requires the number on front and back, and the logo will be on front. Would anticipate the logo to be same length as represented (near same, not exact) and the height is up to you, so long as the number fits comfortably. Also, with the logo I attached, if you can inforporate a basketball into the design great, if not no big deal, but I look to your guidance. Again, I don't want it overly complex or heavy or overly expensive as a result of going way beyond the goal, it is second grade basketball. Also, please no smiley face stars, no smiley face basketball.
