Book Cover Design Brief

Need a full color cover for a paperback elementary yearbook. The theme of the yearbook is "Calling All Cardinals" and will follow a super hero comic book design. The cover must include the name of the school "Cherry Run Elementary", the school year "2015-2016", and the theme "Calling All Cardinals". Some concepts of the cover could include the "batman" spotlight shining above the school with a cardinal in it, but there is no specific creative direction desired or limitation. The desire is to be elementary school age appropriate and fun. The school mascot is the cardinal. Attached pictures are different views of the school and the school sign. The total cover needed includes front and pack and when opened, the size is 10.5 x 16.

Requirements

Must have

• Name of school, year, and theme adherence. Must be gender/race neutral or at least diverse..

Nice to have

• General super hero and comic book style will be best. Many like the "batman" spotlights over the school. Drawn designs vice pictures of the school or mascots, etc is greatly preferred. Concepts recognizable to elementary aged students will be greatly appreciated, but nothing copyrighted.

Should not have

• Nothing violent or sexually explicit. Nothing "scary".
