Dear client, don't go for the shoelace textured type, it is over done and would not work at small sizes anyway. But it is your choice ultimately. Best wishes for your project!

Dear client: If you have chosen a design in your mind, I think it is inappropriate to ask another designer to make revisions to their work. Just sayin.

It was between your design and one other. I really liked your design, but I didn't feel like I (and my polling group) could make a complete decision without seeing a negative image of the one you had provided. You gave it, I resubmitted it to my focus group, and they went with the other designer. I respect their opinions more than I respect mine alone.

Your design was good. Out of the 40-ish designs I received, it was down to 2. Someone had to get picked. And the burden was on you to get picked.
