Logo Design Brief

I am making a website for my kids hockey team. It will mainly have my kids on the site and their teams along with videos of their games. We might put a forum and site to sell or give away hockey equipment for their team and rink. It should be a fun friendly logo. Ideas that I've had would be a cartoonish hockey player face, logo with hockey sticks, hockey theme is good. Something that would look good on a shirt or hat.
