Logo Design Brief
Hiya,
Thanks for getting involved.
So yes, this is about a logo design, but it would also be nice to find a talented individual to do a continuation of this to web, flyers, business card and other branding trinkets I have in mind. The ability to submit print ready files to www.printing.com would also be necessary in the longer term too. I can then pickup the material locally, in my case Marylebone, London, England.
So, what do I hope for here?

I have thrown together this website, to give an idea of what we are doing. I use moonfruit as the site builder, then insert the backend cloud based ordering system through a html snippet.
As you can see in the top left hand corner I have made a logo.
I have kept with the orange colour scheme, because as you will notice, my company www.gumboots.uk.com which is doing this project, is branded in orange and I feel that this offers some brand continuity. This, of course, is a design decision, which you will need to think about. Orange or not. Or how much orange and what other colours. I have selected some colours, but it's not set in stone.
Including a house in the logo as I have, or not, is your decision too, although I have expressed a preferance to make it character / pictoral over text.
I'll be looking for a colour palette from the logo, which I will then ask hopefully you (or the next designer) to make use of in the flyers, business card and then website - which would be the order of next development.
I would need it to be in vector format for scaling to all manner of applications, including billboards.
So this is a really important piece of work to me. From the look and feel of it, will come the colours and basic design of the rest of the brand.

I am so sorry I am taking so long to get this decided, there are many very pressing matters in the business that need all of my attention right now.
I have called in and asked for the deadline to be extended to 13 November 2015.
I will get to this as soon as possible - meetings with a marketing agency have been set and we will be working through this together.
