Logo Design Brief

I'm the kind of person who has always believed if it's worth doing it's worth doing right. I recently acquired a new internet domain elev8.life. I'm planning on building out my personal website there to chronicle the various personal and professional projects I work on as well as make it a place for others (family & friends) to post their own projects. The hope would be to inspire people to do more / try new things they think they can't and enjoy a project well done. Example projects cover everything from home renovations, wine making, arcade cabinet design, furniture making, sewing, knitting, cooking and many others.

This logo will end up on the main website as well as integrated in some of the project art that I often need. Such as Wine Labels.

I'm a fan of clean / simple. Sometimes the most impressive is not complicated. I don't necessarily want to skew or discount any completely different ideas but I have had one idea of the blending of "leet speak" with flowing life. Elev8 - in Typewriter and Life cursive/ Calligraphy-ish

Again open to any ideas though.

I do want the end logo in a true vector format with a transparent background.

I would like to generally see Blues/ Greens/ Greys/ Black.

And while I would like to see color it should translate/ look good as monochromatic as well for etching / branding purposes.
