Logo Design Brief

Start today is an innovation start up company. We have recently started and we are looking for a logo! We are looking to help people and change lives. We would like the logo to incorporate a sun but not look childish, so maybe on the top or the bottom and with the worlds start today under it on top but we would also like to see some logos without a sun for contrast.

The colors we have in mind are a blue and light orange, similar to three down on this photo http://design-seeds.com/palettes/OrangeTones.png , ( Doesn't have to be the exact same color but similar please.)
