I'm a little confused by the brief and just hope you can clarify this.

This contest is for a logo for the company, but also a beer label? Those seem like 2 distinct and different projects.

I've designed a lot of beer labels, and usually the beer will have a name like "XYZ Ale" and then the company will just be another small logo within the label. (Like Anheiser-Busch is small on a can of Budweiser, for an obvious example...or the brewer "Summit" will be incorporated on the label of the specific type of beer, like a Honey Weiss or IPA)

Does the specific beer have a name? Or are we just designing logo that you are using for something else?

The Company logo will be used as a label also in general. I will then add the style of the beer to the label. Does that help at all.....sorry but that's why I'm paying someone for this.I'm not too good advertising...But I can brew one hell of a beer!!...LOL....Let me know if i can clarify an further..sorry for the confusion...good luck!!.....dvd
