Illustration Design Brief

I would like my book to be illustrated (see attachment) and also a logo for all of my books.
I am a children's book author (with 3 already written and edited) and plan on opening my own daycare. I would like my book illustrated.

Also, I want my logo (that will be on the bottom back cover of my book) designed to reflect a little child reading a book and the book covers his/her face. The cover of the book will be my logo on it "HallieWood". And beneath the child, reads "Where Your children are Treated like Stars! His/her shoe laces are a not tied properly and they are reaching for a cup of hot cocoa with marshmallows on top. As if they are engulfed in the book.

Requirements

Must have

• The right logo for all of my upcoming books. All of my characters must have an angelic/cute look about them. I plan on turning all of my characters into toys, so I need a look that will be marketable (like Barney, Star Wars toys, WWE action figures).

Nice to have

• A touch and flair that embraces my style as I write my series about how to keep looking forward for a brighter day.

Should not have

• Nothing too bold.
