Logo Design Brief
Don't Tell Me to Chill. is a psychological blog written by a therapist in Miami, FL. This blog will contain tips, tricks, anecdotes, and stories about stress. The logo will be used on a website, business cards, and social media. I would like the logo to be modern and convey the message of organization/stress-relief/relief. However, this is not a yoga/zen blog. The logo should be targeted at a generation X population of working young adults, college age students, young moms, etc. I would prefer neutral colors or black and white. The blog will be written in mainly jargony, humorous language. Below is a rough/partial view at an introduction to the blog for more information/inspiration:
Imagine you’re at work. Emails are piling up; the phone will not stop ringing.
Sweat beads start to form on your forehead, dripping down your face at an accelerated pace. Your heart is racing and you can literally feel the stress coursing through your veins.
Just when you think it can’t get any worse, a coworker strolls into your office and utters one of the absolute most offensive phrases in the English language.
“Bro, just chill.”
If you’re anything like me, you hear these words and suddenly become a possessed maniac. Your head spins around three times and you continue to throw things at said individual until you pass out. Productive? Maybe not, but totally warranted.
Honestly, I cannot think of a worse thing to say to someone when they are stressed. If you agree and would like to stop throwing things at your family/friends/coworkers, you’ve come to the right place. Don’t Tell Me to Chill. is the glass of wine you need when you feel frazzled, overwhelmed, and just flat out stressed. I hope you enjoy these tips and tricks of the trade and I promise to never tell you to chill.
