Logo Design Brief

We need a logo to brand our photography business, "Giancini Photography". Our photographic style is very cinematic and personal, catching moments instead of making them. We are a husband and wife team. We do weddings, portraiture, and performing arts photography.

The image has to stand alone as well as fit with our name. (Iconic)

Updates

Just wanted to extend a big thank you to all designer who've submitted concepts so far, and so quickly.  We'll be reviewing them in closer detail. More updates and feedback to come.

First we want to extend our sincere gratitude to all designers that have participated.  There have been many very good designs and ideas presented here.  Investing in one of them is something that we are really excited about and confident in.  


We want to apologize because we are design crowd newbies and didn't even realize that we had a message inbox! :) So if you sent a message but haven't received a response yet, thats why.  We're going to do our best to repsond to everyone so thank you for your patience.  

Regardless of our logo choice, we're also going to do our best to take time to provide feedback to everyone that submitted a design.  We really appreciate all your time and effort and hope that our feedback will at least be beneficial as critique and exposure to your work.

That being said, we're going to open up a poll to get some outside input on our logo choice.  There are a few we feel very strongly about and would like some other opinions on.  If you have any other ideas or designs that you would like to be considered for the poll, please try and submit them with the next 24hrs (unless we can add designs later, we're not really sure).

Thanks to all the designers who've submitted designs so far.  We're a bit overwhelmed with the shear number of submissions and doing our best to review them all and provide feedback where necessary. Definitely some really good ones. We'll keep you posted.

  • We like the idea of using the 3 "dots" from the "i's" in our name. We've toyed with variations of the dots inside of and uppercase "G".

    With the use of the dots we would like for the name to use lower case "i's" when spelled out. "GiANCiNi" or something similar.

  • Please no OBVIOUS photography symbols. Example: Film brackets, apertures, cameras, etc.
