Logo Design Brief

We are doing a much needed update to our website www.bowdark.com and have decided our logo needs an overhaul as well. Our business is computer software design and we would like our logo to give a more simple, professional image. Our new website will have a metallic blue color as well as steel gray with orange accents. We think we would like the logo to just be "bowdark" in lower case lettering. Our business is named after a bowdark tree but if a tree is used in the logo we would want it to be easily used on promotional items and signage so small parts are discouraged (i.e. the leaves on our current logo).
