- "portion" is the the hero and the name we want the market to know us as
- "hospitality marketplace" is secondary message almost like a tag line.
- "portion.com.au is our domain name

Why Portion?
- Its a single word that will be simple to remember.
- It plays on hospitality language.
- We see ourselves as helping small business "get a bigger portion of their revenue as profits" by using "portion" products and services.

Logo Application:
We are a start up company so we need a logo to apply to all mediums i.e website, app and business cards and email footer.

Quick Business Background:
Our business is an online marketplace for the hospitality market i.e. venues such as cafes and restaurants and suppliers such as butchers and large corporates like bidvest. It is where venues can order their goods for their business and suppliers can promote and sell their goods.

The portion website provides venues with buying power and access to smart business tools that take care of everyday activities like ordering.

Design Notes: we have a preference for
- lower case
- clean lean fonts
- clean modern slick simple logos
- colours that reflect "fresh" i.e food
- portion should be the "key" word and hospitality marketplace secondary emphasis either by colour and or text size.

Future Opportunities:
Post the logo phase we will be going through the same process for
1) web design and
2) Product design for the multiple products and services undertake portion name.
3) Illustration work for how to get started etc ( like design crowd)
