Business Card Design Brief
I am looking for help creating a business card that includes a logo for a counseling practice. I am not sure what kind of image or look I would like to have yet, so any ideas and creativity would be great. I would like the card and logo to send the message that clients will receive competent, quick (as in lasting, but timely results), professional treatment. I would also like it to look easy and inviting for someone to call who may be anxious or depressed, while decreasing the mental health stigma that you're crazy if you call for help. I would like it to appeal also to people who are professional, wealthy, and have it together but just need a little extra help. A lot of counselors' cards look softer but at the expense of looking less professional or less competent or too touchy feely. If you're able to avoid that connotation or make it stand out from the rest, even better! I'd love something outside of the box that stands out in good way or something that isn't that unique but just feels right or just the right blend of softness and professionalism.
Updates
On the back of the business card I would love to include a QR code (so I they can scan my card and be directed to my website) and have something like this included the back as well:"Your next appointment is __________ , __________ at _________ am/pm."(With the intent of filling it in with something like, "Thursday, Sept 17th at 6pm."Thanks! - I would like to include the the tagline "You don't have to be sick to get better."
- I would like a QR scan code on the back (or a place for one).
- The attachments I uploaded have some examples that I like as far as spreading the info out over front and back. What I like is how the front is designated solely for the name and tagline for the business with the info and details on the back. This does an awesome job of making the message pop out! I love that.
Nice to have
- Something that stands out or makes people want to look at my card a little longer would be great. The tagline "You don't have to be sick to get better." could do the trick if it's displayed in the right way.
- It would be nice if it's possible to include a spot to write the client's next appointment on the back. For example something like:
- "Your next appointment is __________, ___________ at _____ am/pm." It's not required though.
- (Filled in it with the client's next appointment info it would look something like "Your next appointment is Thursday, Sept 17th at 6pm."
Should not have
- I would like avoid anything too cutesy or touchy feely, to keep it looking professional, yet still inviting and welcoming.
