Logo Design Brief
We need a logo for our three year fundraising effort called the "Crossfield Campaign" which is led by the school's Parent Teacher Organization (PTO). Funds raised will go toward science, technology, arts, engineering and math tools for use by Crossfield Elementary School students (K-6) in Herndon, Virginia. This year's funds will specifically go towards new laptops.
Crossfield is named after an aeronautical pioneer whose accomplishments include being the first aviator to fly twice the speed of sound and the first test pilot to fly the X-15.
We would like to see designs that use the color blue and communicate a focus on technology, science, arts, engineering, and math. A space/aeronautical theme would coordinate with our school's logo: http://www.fcps.edu/CrossfieldES/index.html
A small reference to the PTO would be preferable, but not necessary.

Requirements
Must have
- We would like to see designs that use the color blue and communicate a focus on technology, science, arts, engineering, and math. A space/aeronautical theme would coordinate with our school's logo: http://www.fcps.edu/CrossfieldES/index.html
- We often use stars and rockets in our branding. Use of the "C" or the alliteration for the Crossfield Campaign in an abstract design might be nice.
Nice to have
- A small reference to the PTO would be preferable, but not necessary.
Should not have
- A "childish" theme, just because it's an elementary school, please no crayons, school buses, etc.
