Logo Design Brief

Hi all...this is a bit complicated...
I have a well established Company, Sydney SPOT. We provide Speech Pathology & Occupational Therapy services to children. Recently this was expanded to Psychology and Physiotherapy services too. The Sydney SPOT logo is very detailed and colourful (I know it shouldn't be), but it seems very recognisable as I have matching animated pictures all across the shop front at two of my clinics. People comment on it all the time.
Recently, we have been offering services to adult too, mainly for Speech Pathology. I did not feel that an animated image would be appropriate for an adult market. We have been using material with 'spots' in bold colours and the Sydney SPOT name.
Most recently, we have been working on setting up 'SPOT Rural Outreach Services' (or maybe just 'SPOT Rural Services'). This may be set up as a separate company, but it will certainly be strongly affiliated with Sydney SPOT. We were picturing some a logo perhaps with a tree...something that has colours that seem to evoke a connection to the 'land' and that will be appropriate for paediatric and adult services. We will be starting by targeting kids but ultimately would love to branch out into rural adult services in nursing homes etc.

While I am reluctant to lose my Sydney SPOT logo (a boy juggling items while balancing on a therapy ball, which is the 'O' in SPOT), it seems that if I was ever going to seek some advice regarding logos and branding, now would be the time to do it. If there was a satisfactory was of reconciling the image of all these services, that would be quite exciting.

There is not really a deadline, although we would love to have a website for the rural services online by mid-October.
