Poster Design Brief
I will be pithing my script to a panel of investors in Sept and need some Key Art (a poster) to help sell the concept.
The film is a horror/slasher. I was thinking of something like the original Friday 13th posters, but am open to any ideas.
The image has to convey/sell the concept - which is Friday 13th meets Battle Royale. Other references could also be some the more dynamic posters for Battle Royale.
Logline - Abducted and dumped in a country town, a Teenage Girl and her friends are hunted by a pack of Psychopaths competing in a bizarre tournament.
* The killers in the film are Slashers e.g. variations on Jason from Friday 13th, Michael Meyers from Halloween. so Masks should feature in the design.
- Setting is Australian bush/forest and a small, deserted country town surrounded by bushfire.
- Main Character is a Teenage Girl (17-18 yo). The other girls are all in the same age group.
Have added a couple more reference posters. With regards to the image of the empty town - I was thinking it might look good if there was something like that (an abandoned country town street) but with a couple of bodies lying about and our hero Grilr standing in the middle of the street?

Requirements
Must have
- Design must include the title "The Furies".
- No credits required besides Written by Tony D'Aquino.
- Design should clearly convey the genre (horror) and ideally be menacing/scary.
- Also, the Girls are not purely victims - they fight back. So, I would prefer to have them portrayed as simply "lambs to the slaughter" in the poster. There should be at least an hint/indication of strength/will to survive.
Nice to have
- If it works with the design, consider the tagline:
- 7 Girls
- 7 Psychopaths
- 1 Survivor
