Logo Design Brief

I'm looking for a modern, logo for a blog I'm working on in my spare time. My blog is primarily focused on technology; dev-ops, web development via WordPress plugins and theme dev and a fair amount of Ruby, Javascript, SaSS, Node.js... yet another tech blog.

I have a character that could be used in the blog and used for inspiration and colors.

The word "tasuku" is Japanese for "task", so I would prefer some Japanese influence, but not dominating.

Since this is my own personal blog I don't have any rules, so let the creativity fly. The only thing I would say I would like to see is something creative and inspiring, not just a Google Web Font with one word in bold and the other thin.

Custom graphics are always welcomed!

Requirements

Must have

• Color scheme needs to match the character provided. But note the site background will most likely be off-white. So ideally the logo should stand out on a light colored background.

Nice to have

• Use of the character is a plus, but not required.
• TasukuForce basically means TaskForce... hence my character is a little ninja with a gun. Not sure where the inspiration came from or how I ended up here, but the use of similar items would be nice.

Should not have

• I'm open to creativity. I cannot really think of much it should not have.
