Logo Design Brief

I need a logo for my company, Mineral Ridge Farms. I named my company after the small, rural Ohio town in which I was raised. I would like the logo to evoke a bit of a traditional or even classic/vintage feel. I will be private labeling products under this name to sell online. I chose the name because the products will be high-quality, all-natural and organic, when possible. I believe the name and logo should perhaps remind people of simpler times when quality was a guarantee and things were made in the USA. My first product will be dog treats; however, I want a logo flexible enough to use to brand any type of product that I would like, although I am not opposed to having a dog on the logo as long as it is not the focal point.

Target Market(s)

Buyers of high-quality, natural, organic products (most likely pet products but I don't want a logo that pigeon-holes me into just that market)

• I was envisioning a red barn/farm with a pond in front and a border collie kind of small somewhere, although I'm completely open to other ideas. The photos are of my backyard in Mineral Ridge with my dog. They just evoke that down-home feeling to me.
