Logo Design Brief
TheSolvingMachine is a company working in the area of mathematical optimization. We solve optimization problems such as Vehicle Routing Problems, Shift Assignment, Scheduling, Planning, etc. These problems belong to a class of so-called 'intractable' problems, meaning that there is still no efficient algorithm able to solve all instances. We are a university spin-off. The logo could give the idea of 'solving', 'hardness', 'optimization', as examples. We are open to ideas. Light bulbs, brains, gears or puzzle pieces are a bit common place, so we prefer something more original, but again, we are not excluding anything if used in an original way. We want something simple, that can be perceived also at small sizes. We have no constraints on the colors. The design should also include the lettering for the company name.
