Book Cover Design Brief

We need a book cover design for a new edition of the book, "Bombs, Bliss and Baba: The Spiritual Autobiography Behind the Hilton Bombing Frame-up."

This exciting and dramatic true story is about Paul Narada Alister's arrest and seven year imprisonment (and eventual pardon) for a crime he didn't commit. As a young Australian surfer, Narada learns meditation and transforms his life as he discovers its powerful effects.

But he finds himself in the midst of political intrigue as he is arrested by a police informant and thrown into jail as a suspect in the notorious Hilton Bombing. During his seven years in prison, he uses his deep spiritual connection and his meditation to endure and even triumph over the harsh prison environment.

An important story in Australian history... and an inspiring spiritual classic.

He wrote the book in his last days before release in 1985.... Now in its third edition.

We have included the previous cover of the book which we were happy with it, but we feel it needs to be updated (plus we don't have the design files anymore.) We have also included a PDF of the book itself to give you an idea of what its about.

Must have

• Needs space on the back cover for the a description of the book and ISBN.

Nice to have

• You might want to incorporate a lotus, as a symbol of spirituality.
• A design which includes both the intense side of prison life and the inspiring side of spiritual life.

Should not have

• too much black and grey. Should not be too heavy or serious.
