Logo Design Brief

We need a logo that will not only work on our letterhead, business cards and website but would work on our drawing title blocks as well. I have attached a copy of our current title block which shows our logo (basically text) in the upper right hand corner. It would be nice if it could translate to an icon used for Twitter or other social media but it's not the main objective. We would like the logo to portray us as a professional and creative company. Our current "logo" features orange and black as the primary colours but I am open to other colour or even monochromatic combinations. Subtle shade changes might be a problem as they might not translate when the drawings are printed (often black on white bond).
