Newly established tshirt brand Educ8Clothing using history and art as a means to inspire education. We need a design focused on President Abraham Lincoln with the art focusing on showing different aspects of the President to inspire people to want to learn more. Finished designed shirts will be accompanied with a biography specially written using some of the following fun facts:
1. He was OBSESSED with cats.
2. He attended séances in the white house where they would try to contact his deceased son Willie.
3. He would often store and hold things in his stove top hat.
4. He did not have a middle name.
5. He hated being called Abe.
6. He loved reading. Taught himself to read.
7. He did use an axe
Ideas that have been floating around the office include using the official presidential photo of Abe Lincoln as inspiration and maybe adding a bunch of cats while he plays with the ball of yarn on a stick. Having a ton of stuff pouring out of his hat (paperwork, pipes, food, books).
These are just ideas, you are the artist. But we would like the design to reflect old newspaper illustrations through sketch art. We would like black used as the base color and using red and blue as a method to showcase the fun facts listed above. Please feel free to get creative with it, get crazy with it. The description provided is little more than a suggestion.
The T-shirt is going to be printed in white or beige color.
