Logo Design Brief

We need a logo for a new drum company, Drum Republic. The first product we are offering is an online, interactive game to help drummers improve their rudiments. We will later release a social version of these interactive games, as well as physical products to purchase online.
The logo needs a symbol that represents both the "drum" aspect (music, rhythm, beats, etc.) and the "republic" aspect (country, nation, territory, region), while being as simple as possible. We also want the text "Drum Republic" to be present on the logo.
