Logo Design Brief

Our company name is Big Yellow Crate Limited (bigyellowcrate.com) and our brand name is Crate 51 (crate51.com). We need two logos that have something in common but are not the same. The common element should be a crate - since we are a trading company, a wooden crate like one used in shipping.
Colours in both designs can be different. Big Yellow Crate Limited as name suggested should have yellow crate. Crate 51 can have different colour.
Design should clean without backgrounds so that it can be used in different application easily (e.g printing on gadgets)
We sell all sorts of products through internet and would like our logos to be universal.
The final designs should have a professional, modern feel, should be eye catching wit a bit of a fun twist. The kind of logo you can remember and identify with the brand with.
