Web Design Brief

Looking for a simple website, containing circa 10-15 pages of brochure-ware content for our new Cafe and Farm Shop venture.

We have a logo, designed through this site, which we think is really strong.

The Cafe and Farm Shop are all about locally sourced, high quality food served in a stunning rural location by happy, friendly staff. Great quality food and drink at sensible prices.

Initially the website needs to contain 10 or so pages of content, which ideally we would like to manage on-going (perhaps not every page, but as many pages as the budget will allow). We want to make sure that the website stays fresh and current and so we want a basic CMS to keep the text areas updated.

We would also like a simple data capture page, so that we can start to generate a database of email addresses for our on-going marketing efforts. Any thoughts around a basic CRM tool gratefully received.

The creative brief can take some inspiration from the logo, but should be bright, clean, welcoming and engaging. Not too over-bearing with colours or content. Fun, easy and interesting to use with all the text and image information clearly displayed.

We don't currently have any imagery beyond the logo, and would like to use as much free stock photography and imagery as possible. If needs be we can take some good quality pictures and provide them.

We're in the process of purchasing the URL(s) at present and will supply them in due course, but they will be based around the trading name.
