Logo Design Brief

This is a dental office. We need a logo
An Overview / Background of the Business & Services- We are a dental office specializing in implant surgery and aesthetic reconstruction. Dr. Roe is has years of post doctoral education and bases his treatment on research.
Design Specifics; any preferences or ideas for Style, Colour, Imagery, etc- I've been thinking more along the lines of a monogram design using the letters "PR" Dr. Roe is specific that he does not want any designs using teeth or a mouth or dental implants. We are not against having color but would prefer black and white due to printing costs. If there are logos that include colors, we would prefer simple colors. Nothing too flamboyant.
The included image is a nice use of colors. The idea is nice, however, the tooth image is not preferred

Target Market(s)

The main target market we are trying to appeal to is people who are looking to improve or restore their teeth and smile. Also, we are referral based, so we depend on general dentists to refer patients who need implant surgery.
