Create 2 very-similar packaging designs for the print encased in a blister pack and for the print design of a gift box. These two packaging types then have 2 minor subversions that illustrate or differentiate compatibility between devices that our product is designed to work with. In short, there will be four (4) designs in total:
2 Blister Packaging for
1) Compatible iPhone
2) Compatible Micro-‐USB
2 Opaque Gift Box Packaging for
1) Compatible iPhone
2) Compatible Micro-‐USB
The backside of both packaging are identical for all 4 versions. The only differences are on the front side that says "compatible iPhone" and the other say "compatible Micro-USB.
The giftbox and the blister packaging template are attached in the zip file. All other related files are zipped and organized according to their version. Other files such as the existing package design, existing design materials, and references to what we envision what the output will be like are also in the attachment.
The product is about bKey, our incredibly innovative smartphone battery that can charge your phone
on the go.
As of now we are not satisfied with the current packaging and we want it to "pop" off the shelf and stand out while being able to tell the customer at a glance what the product is and what it does. People need to know that its a portable smartphone battery that goes into your keychain and that it doesn't need any cable. Design-‐wise it needs to have a premium feel that matches products in an Apple Store. We also want to change the existing box packaging to be completely opaque.
As such, it needs to satisfy the following criteria:
1) It needs to be able to pop off the shelf with its design.
2) It needs to be able to communicate the customer quickly and effectively what the product is and what it does: A portable keychain smartphone battery that doesn't need any cable.
3) It needs a premium feel in lieu of high-‐end smartphones that matches Apple Store products.
4) It needs to have a nice and colorful effect targeted towards women, men, and youth (15+).
5) Operating instructions hopefully is part of the design.
6) The gift box packaging doesn't have a window anymore and is completely opaque.
Other information that may help:

‐ Gift box: 80mm width by 130mm height by 30mm depth

Requirements
Must have
- Packaging that wows and pops off the shelf. Must look premium like iPhone accessories at the Apple store. I attached a few pics of a competitor product Kii that is only a smartphone cable.
- bKey is a battery will the cable built-in, so it offers 30-60 minutes of extra talk, text and surf time and no need for a cable. It's a battery and cable built-in. We want the packaging to be much nicer and more colourful for women, men and youth (15+). We also need to include operating instructions but I figured we could have them incorporated somehow maybe into the inside of the packaging. I attached the operating instructions too.
Nice to have
- I just posted bKey's product dimensions (file called dimensions.png) and the current packaging dimensions are:
- Blister: 80mm width by 130mm height
- Gift box: 80mm width by 130mm height by 30mm depth
