This project is a stand for Love and Human Connection in the world...and what better population to share this stand with than incarcerated persons? There is something moving about the fact that human love and connection are harder to share with people who are
incarcerated—people who might have needed more of these things in the first place. Separation of any kind forces us to be more intentional about expressing emotions through letter or visits.
