what type of design work you need? psd or html/css ?
Hello, I am really new to this kind of stuff. So I am not sure of the differences as far as what I will need. I will be using the logo to be put on business cards, stickers etc using a local print shop. I read about both. So I am thinking psd?
Thank you,
.psd is a Photoshop document file which means it's only graphic design file and need to be converted into a web page.
Html/css is ready to show web page and but if you need to edit the content you need to be familiar with html/css programming or need to contact your designer for help. Also for sure costs more compared to design only .psd file.
hope i explained clearly ;)
Thank you, I am using design crowd to create a web page for my business as well so it sounds as though I should go with the HTML/css.
Submitted and would love to hear on it.
Thank you!
Feedback please.

Hi there, i submitted my designs a couple of day's ago, Hope you're enjoying the decision making process. I love the sound of your business and if you like my designs would be happy to work them further until you are 100% happy.
To help you understand file type you require I will try to explain below, and am happy to provide all of/any of the file formats listed.
The Original logo file.
Should be a vector image, this type of image is generally created using adobe illustrator (these are saved as either a .ai or a .eps files, both come from adobe illustrator). Why? Because a vector image can be scaled as large/small as required, without losing ANY image quality. (imagine your logo covering the whole outside wall of a building, if the file was created in photoshop for example, it would start to look pixelated once scaled above a certain size).
Ready For Print: your logo (the vector version .Ai/.Epsi file) should be converted in to a PDF document that printers/you can manipulate to any scale/size when designing business' cards/flyers/banners/tshirts etc. (this is because most people don't have adobe illustrator, so can't open the original .ai or .eps file.
Web: To use your logo on the internet you should use a .png version of the file, which can be saved via either photoshop or illustrator. This is the most web friendly version of a logo as it changes the colours to suit screens instead of printers. It also pixelates the logo, which basically means it is more screen friendly.
You might also want to consider that your logo may need 2/3 variations to fit in with however you intend to use it. For example, if you look at my designs, the icon (in isolation) might be used as your Facebook profile image. On -Tshirts, you might want the company name part of the logo on the back, and the icon on the front. I would recommend 3 x Logo's
1 - Both the icon and company name (as shown in my design)
2 - The Icon only
3 - The Company name only
Hope this helps, let me know if you need any more information.
