Logo Design Brief
We require a logo design for a new fashion brand. The company will initially be targeting the bridal market and then moving on to couture evening wear and other high end fashion designs. We would like something simple and easily recognisable, think YSL, Chanel, Louis Vuitton logo's. Our company name "Carnaby & Smith" is based on Carnaby Street in London and Smith Street in Melbourne. It represents a unique and exclusive brand.
We have in mind possibly a monogram logo (along the YSL lines) or even possibly the use of a lamp post or street sign being incorporated. We would like the logo to be recognised on it's own as well as having "Carnaby & Smith" printed with it.
Colours for the logo should be premium; blacks, golds, whites etc.
The final design should communicate a simple, timeless, exclusive and classic brand.

Requirements
Must have
- Incorporation of the business name or business name initials (i.e. C&S or CS)
Nice to have
- Possibly the use of a signpost or street sign although this is not necessary, just an idea we had as the company name is taken from fashion centric streets. A few designs that we have played around with are attached.
Should not have
- Anything bridal or gown specific. We want the brand to expand to all aspects of fashion eventually, so we do not want to pigeon hole ourselves through having a logo that identifies us too strongly with one product.
