Business Card Design Brief

I am a freelance event manager and work on high end events such as film premieres, product launches and black tie charity dinners. I would like the design to reflect efficiency, reliability, creativity and passion. I am a French Canadian who is now living and working in Sydney, Australia and although I will not be doing any business in Canada, perhaps a Canadian element can be incorporated in the business card to make my card stand out? I would like there to be some white space on the card to allow people to write on it, but not too much. I also want both sides of the card to be used. As a freelancer, I will be handing out my card to anyone with an outstretched hand. It's safe to assume that anyone who gets my card will be receiving hundreds of business cards at a time, so I really need mine to stand out. Please be original! I kind of want people reaction when they receive my card to be "wow, this guy means business, cool card".
