Web Design Brief

When a home is insured by National Flood Insurance and is damaged by flood, the insured has to fill out a form called a proof of loss. Very specific questions will be asked and using this information it will fill in both the general information and calculate the correct totals to be entered. Purpose of the website is to help the insureds and to drive business to [public adjusting website. Eventually will have videos and documents that users can access as well a blog.

I created an excel workbook that will give a good idea of requirements on the form. Just start at the first tab and walk through it.

I also need my main company website designed but am not finished with the content and would like to develop a relationship with individual or company on this one before moving onto that.

I am not expecting a fully functional rendition for this initial amount, a mock up of your idea would be fine and we can work the cost out.

Logo is being designed now on another job I posted. At this point I have nothing done on sites but the purchase of domain names. The domains for this site is nfippol.com which is the initials for the main purpose of the site, filling out a pol or proof of loss. I also have nfipestimates.com for my future site for estimates, for the main site it is claim.solutions which is the name of my company. I am not expecting a working design, a mock up or something similar is fine.

I understand that it doesn't make much sense to get this part done first but there is a reason for it. I do need the project done and and it is important but one of the main reasons I posted this ad is to try and find someone to work with long term, I am not looking for a site that is built in a few days or hours and that is the end of the business relationship. I want an impressive site and have a lot of ideas but not sure how realistic they are in concerns with difficulty and budget.

When I choose a designer i want to explain what I want and get a plan together to achieve as much of it as possible. The needs of this particular job are a good representation of the overall work that I need. It consists of designing a page that is easy to use, looks good, and is functional beyond just supplying information.
