Logo Design Brief

I have recently registered the business name HOBART NYE as I am organising a large scale premier fundraising event this year in Hobart, Tasmania, Australia (www.dicovertasmania.com.au). I am aiming for this to be the first of many unique New Years Eve events, with the important goal of providing much needed funding for two local homeless shelters. Hoping for up to 800 guests.
I want to present a business image that makes a bold statement but is playful with a party feel. Hobart has a population of 250,000 people and although there are a always a couple of well known New Years Eve celebrations, I am hoping this event will be a new and exciting event experience supported by locals and visitors alike.

Target Market(s)

The target market will be professional people, 25-50 years who are happy to spend top dollar on a memorable night for a good cause. Think along the lines of 'Hobart people giving back to Hobart people'.
