We're worried that being restricted to red / white / blue is making the designs too soft - we're looking for something a little edgy - if you need to stick to different colours or just two blues go ahead.

Hi designers, perhaps we've been a bit vague - but we'd like the designs to be a bit more edgy. Think "The Police" Synchronicity.

Hi designers, we are getting a lot of stylised boats - actually although that was in the design brief we are tending to like the designs that are more of a hint of a boat or stylised ocean/wave or even no image/picture just formats of the logo text.
Also the red/white/blue colour palette is a guideline only, have seen a couple of ideas that just use two shades of blue and are very impressive.
